Graduate/ Undergraduate Zeta of the Year

Complete the SCR Awards Nomination Application and Cover Page by MONDAY, APRIL 14TH.

• Financial on all levels

  • Graduate-  at least three (3) consecutive years

  • Undergraduate- at least one (1) year

• The submitted narrative, signed by the Chapter Basileus, must include a detailed narrative describing the nominee’s capacity to uphold the sorority’s founding principles, leading to the advancement of the sorority, the chapter, and the community's well-being. The narrative should include examples and if applicable documentation of their contributions toward Zeta's Programmatic Initiatives and the promotion of Zeta’s brand.

 

Graduate/ Undergraduate Basileus of the Year

The Basilei of the Year award recognizes an outstanding current Chapter Basilei, on the Graduate and Undergraduate level, who advances the mission of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. on the National, Regional, State, and local level.  To nominate a Chapter Basilei for this prestigious award, the following is required:

• The Nominee must:

  • Be financial on all levels 

    • Graduate-  at least three (3) consecutive years

    • Undergraduate- at least one (1) year

  •  Served in the capacity of chapter basileus during the current sorority year (2024-2025)

• The submitted narrative, signed by the Chapter’s First Anti-Basileus, must provide a detailed summary of the nominee’s history in the organization.  The narrative should include a depiction of the nominee’s leadership with examples and documentation of the successes achieved by the chapter during her presidency. Describe how she carries out her role to ensure the success of the chapter.

 

 Life Member of the Year

The Life Member of the Year award recognizes the extraordinary service and exceptional contributions given to our beloved sorority by a Life Member.  To nominate a Life member for this prestigious award, the following is required:

• Any financial Life Member may nominate another member for consideration for the Life Member’s award. 

•  The Life Member must be financial on all levels. 

•  The Life Member must be active in her chapter during the current sorority year (2024-2025)

• The Life member's length of service to the chapter shall be at least 3 years. 

• The submitted narrative, signed by a Life Member, must describe the nominee’s contributions to the betterment of Zeta through Service and her promoting Zeta in her community.

 

Undergraduate Advisor/Amicae/ZYA Sponsor of the Year

Complete the SCR Awards Nomination Application and Cover Page by MONDAY, APRIL 14TH.

• The Nominee must :

  • Be financial on all levels 

  • Served in an Advisor/Sponsor capacity during the current Sorority Year (2024-2025)

• The submitted narrative, signed by the Chapter’s Basileus, must include a detailed narrative describing  how she carries out her role as an Advisor/Sponsor to ensure the success of the undergraduate chapter/auxiliary and connection of the Graduate Chapter

 

 Amica of the Year

Complete the SCR Awards Nomination Application and Cover Page by MONDAY, APRIL 14TH.

• The Nominee must be:

  • Financial on all levels 

  • Served during the current Sorority Year (2024-2025)

• The submitted narrative, signed by the Sponsoring Chapter’s Basileus or Auxiliary Sponsor, must include a detailed narrative describing her contributions to Zeta's Programmatic Initiatives and accomplishments

 

Bernice Callaway Amicae Growth Award

• (based on the % growth in the Auxiliary size (members) between last year and this year)

 

Undergraduate/Graduate Chapter of the Year

Complete the SCR Chapter Award Nomination Application and Cover Page by  MONDAY, APRIL 14TH.

• Provide documentation of support and/or participation in at least 5 of the following areas:

  • Regional Project Participation 

  • State Project Participation 

  • Z-HOPE™ Implementation 

  • Zeta National Educational Foundation

• March for Babies Participation 

• Finer Womanhood Program 

• Founders’ Day Program 

• Elder Care 

• In addition, the chapter must provide a summary of chapter accomplishments for the 2024-2025 year including but not limited to:

  • scholarships given

  • local participation in charitable events not listed above

  • collaborations with other organizations

  • brief accomplishments of chapter members (awards, appointments outside of Zeta, published works, etc.)

 

Amicae Auxiliary of the Year

Complete the SCR Chapter Award Nomination Application and Cover Page by  MONDAY, APRIL 14TH.

• Provide documentation of support and/or participation in at least 5 of the following areas:

  • Regional Project Participation 

  • State Project Participation 

  • Z-HOPE™ Implementation 

  • Zeta National Educational Foundation 

  • March for Babies Participation 

  • Finer Womanhood Program Participation 

  • Founders’ Day Program Participation

  • Elder Care

• Provide documentation of support and/or participation in at least 5 of the following areas:

  • Regional Project Participation 

  • State Project Participation 

  • Z-HOPE™ Implementation 

  • Zeta National Educational Foundation 

  • March for Babies Participation 

  • Finer Womanhood Program Participation 

  • Founders’ Day Program Participation

  • Elder Care 

 

• In addition, the chapter must provide a summary of chapter accomplishments for the (2024-2025) year including but not limited to:

  • local participation in charitable events not listed above

  • collaborations with other organizations

  • brief accomplishments of auxiliary members (awards, appointments outside of Zeta Youth Auxiliary, public recognition within school districts, and citywide/statewide/regionwide recognition, etc.)

Trophy Awards: (UG/GRAD) Zeta of the Year, (UG/GRAD) Basileus of the Year, Amica of the Year

Plaque Awards: Advisor/Sponsor of the Year, UG/Graduate Chapter of the Year, Amicae Auxiliary of the Year, Zeta Youth Auxiliary of the Year 

Certificate Awards: Scrapbook (Overall, 1st Runner-Up)

 

NOTE: These forms must be submitted by the Basileus and/or 1st Anti-Basileus/Sponsor of the chapter/auxiliary nominee.
